AEG Power Solutions is awarded global framework agreement with BP

Saturday, November 30, 2013: AEG Power Solutions (FWB:3W9) have been awarded a five year global framework agreement with BP to supply IEC compliant AC & DC UPS Systems for BP’s Global Projects Organisation.

This framework agreement enables BP’s Global project teams (including their EPMS/EPC contractors) to access AEG Power Solutions international resources to supply IEC AC & DC UPS Systems.

AEG Power Solutions have demonstrated technical & commercial capabilities that increase product quality, reliability and drive standardisation within the UPS category.

“We are very proud to be part of BP suppliers”, explains Gert Buist, VP and GM Industrial Power Solutions for AEG Power Solutions, “This contract is of great significance in many respects and does reinforce that we are very much a highly respected and acknowledged custom solutions provider capable of engineering solutions for the most challenging of applications where safety and reliability are crucial.”

In the field of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) Systems, AEG Power Solutions is one of the few approved vendors manufacturing AC & DC solutions who can provide a range varying from small power ratings through large scale industrial UPS, with a strong focus in Transport, Oil & Gas and Power Generation as well as General Industry.
