The company will be providing inverters for the solar power plant in the MP region.
AEG Power Solutions, the company that manufactures power electronics systems and solutions for the global industry has reportedly been awarded with an order for inverters to be provided for a 30 MW solar power plant project. The order has been provided by M and B Switchgears Ltd, which is based out of Madhya Pradesh.
According to a Business Standard report, AEG will be entrusted with providing high reliable inverters to M and B Switchgears for their solar power plant in the first quarter of 2013, the company said in a statement.
“With this order our total orders exceed 100 MW within the last one year,” Sridhar Murthy, managing director, AEG Power Solutions India reportedly said.
Talking about the order, Vikalp Mundra, director, M and B Switchgears Ltd said, “M and B Switchgears was the first solar power producer in India to be issued 249 solar Renewable Energy Certificates. Partnering with AEGPS will further strengthen our commitment towards an alternative energy future.”
AEG Power Solutions Group is said to be the sole subsidiary of the holding company 3W Power SA, which is based in Luxembourg. AEG is a Netherlands-based firm that is on the lookout for contracts and order in the Indian solar sector, which is rapidly developing into huge market generating foreign interest.
