E-Mobile, Smart Living – Propels Electronic Industry’s Future
According to the statistics released by IEK, Taiwan’s electronic components and parts had a total production value of $6.7 billion in the first quarter of 2013, which was a mild 3.5 per cent growth compared to the same period of previous year. The same report also estimates the production value for the second quarter to reach $ 7.2 billion, with a growth of 7.9 per cent as compared to the first quarter.
In addition, Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs disclosed the latest industrial production index in June, 2013 showing that among the major manufacturing industries, the index for electronic components and parts maintained mild growth. This performance demonstrates that the industry is the bedrock of the country’s economic development.

In TAITRONICS, all the products including electronics components & parts, meters & instruments, cells, batteries & power supplies, security &systems products, LED lighting & applications, industrial process & manufacturing equipment, smart living & consumer electronics will be displayed. Meanwhile displays at Broadband Taiwan feature broadband products & applications, telecommunication equipment & components, and mobile communications.
Cloud Taiwan, being the only professional B2B exhibition focussing on cloud and IoT industry, will spotlight the cloud technology & products, IoT and RFID.
In this three-venue show, exhibitors in electronic components & parts, meters & instruments, cells, batteries & power supplies, and smart living & consumer electronics take up the majority of space. Lots of benchmark manufacturers gather to offer high-precision products and solutions. They are Adda Corporation, Sunf Pu, Chant Sincere, Excel Cell, K.S. Terminals Inc., Taisaw, Radiant, Kaimei, Lelon, Good Will, Chroma, P-Duke, UMEC, Aker Technology, Sentien Printing Factory, Ahoku, Audio-Technica and so on.

Broadband Taiwan, on the other hand, plays steadily with such telecom big names as Chunnghwa Telecom, Asia Pacific Telecom, Z-COM Inc., and All Win Tech. While Cloud Taiwan, the one and only professional trade show dedicated to cloud tech in the country, presents to the world the most recent advances and applications of the edgiest technology, on an enjoyable trading platform attended by the Cloud Computing Association in Taiwan in its own pavilion, Unisvr, Gigawin, and Soundwin. Identification systems, information solutions, surveillance systems, servers, etc. are all within arm’s reach and in premium quality.
“Electronic mobility, smart living” sets the keynote for the various theme pavilions at the show, which include: Taiwan Excellence Pavilion, MIT Appliance Pavilion, Testing Area, ICT Industry Pavilion, Smart Living Pavilion, Broadband Pavilion, and Cloud Pavilion.
Maximum Benefit Bolstered by Industry Forums and Procurement Meetings
These three electronic shows not just serve as platform for exhibitors and visitors to explore business opportunities, but they also have become important venue for the industry to address and highlight the developments and accomplishments on latest technology and innovation. Highly praised forum from last year namely “Taipei Summit” will return this year. Representatives from home and abroad are invited to share views on the topic of smart living. Meanwhile, the “Taiwan IoT Application Forum” will also be staged to discuss the trends worldwide and their market opportunity.
To boost as many business opportunities as possible, TAITRA will continue to host procurement meetings including “One-on-One Trade Meetings” and “Sourcing Taiwan for Government Procurement” where hundreds of buyers are invited.
