The electric mobility venture recently cleared its initial inventory of 100 units and aims to ramp up its monthly production to 1,500 units. Their varied clientele includes students, IT professionals, and delivery personnel.
CEO Karthik Raju believes they produce high-end smart e-bikes in Visakhapatnam using their unique, locally developed technology. He emphasized the company’s mission to be a leader in sustainable mobility solutions to contribute to a carbon-neutral world.
Raja Pradeep, the Managing director and co-founder, revealed they’re exploring partnerships with distributors in the USA, UK, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and numerous European and African countries. He added that a comprehensive market study and pilot project preceded their full-fledged production and sales launch.
The company offers two innovative e-bike models: Rifle T9 and Carry, which riders can pedal. They operate production facilities in Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam, capable of producing 300-500 e-bikes monthly. These bikes are available on major online platforms.
The directorial team at Austhraa Motors consists of Mohan Kalki Dhuli, Laxman Lingam, and Pradeep Kondeti, each bringing unique expertise and roles to the table.
