The new Ametek technology solutions center will be used to showcase solutions for aerospace and defense, academia and its latest scientific researches
Ametek, a manufacturer of electronic instruments and electro-mechanical devices, inaugurated a technology solution center at its headquarters in Whitefield, Bangalore. The Ametek technology solutions center, as claimed by the USA headquartered company is aimed to support its electro-mechanical products and electronic instrument businesses in the country.
Milind Palsule, MD, Ametek India and the Middle East, said, “We are very pleased with our new technology solutions center. It represents a significant expansion of our technical and support capabilities in India and reflects the importance of our growing customer base in India. We now can provide customers with a wider range of services and support, including product demonstrations, training seminars and application workshops, along with factory-direct service, repair and support.”
US $ 5.5 million investment
The company said it has invested US $ 5.5 million in establishing the technology solutions center. Ametek India believes the center will help its customers in selecting the right equipment to meet application needs and in developing new products. Ametek will also be using the newly developed technology center to provide hands-on training and demonstrations to consumers for its products. The servicing and calibration of its devices will also be done at the center.
10 years in India
The news of Ametek technology solutions center opening, has come at a time when the company is also celebrating its 10 years tenure in the country. Equipped with a wide product range from 20 Ametek businesses, the Ametek technology solutions center will be used to showcase solutions for precision manufacturing instruments, electro-mechanical devices, process instrumentation power, pharma, automotive and metal.
The company will also use the center to showcase solutions for aerospace and defense, academia and its latest scientific researches.
