SUN Mobility has partnered with EV logistics startup Zypp Electric under its integrated Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) model. MaaS will enable Zypp to electrify its delivery fleets revolutionizing last-mile delivery solutions, said the company.
It is the first such partnership for the company under the MaaS model that aims to onboard 1 million electric vehicles by 2025. This will also be the first time that SUN Mobility will provide electric two-wheelers in the bundled integrated MaaS offering.
By the end of 2022, Zypp plans to onboard 10,000 vehicles including an equal number of loaders and two-wheelers across 10 major cities in India. The integrated MaaS service will provide Zypp with an all-in bundled solution comprising electric vehicles with the flexibility of an unlimited swap plan.

SUN Mobility also said it has commenced MaaS deployment for the goods delivery segment in major cities such as Delhi NCR, Bangalore, and Chandigarh and plans to further expand to other cities across the country.
The company has onboarded hundreds of such vehicles across many fleet operators and has a robust order book to deploy a few thousand more.
