It will also be India’s first AI-enabled electric motorcycle, the company has claimed.

The R&D team at Revolt Motors, founded by Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma, has been working on the project for the past two years.

The product will have a range of about 150 kilometres on a single charge and will have a lithium-ion battery pack which can be swapped.

As reported by CarBlogIndia, the Revolt E-motorcycle may come equipped with a fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connection and OTA Updates with an individual sim tray.

The console will display information such as riding patterns, riding range, battery status, remaining battery, GPS navigation, message and call Alert, and much more advanced telematics.

Access to sustainable mobility for everyone

The company says it intends to make the E-motorcycle a mass-market product under the lower price range. However, it didn’t disclose the exact price range.

Revolt’s manufacturing facility in Manesar has the capacity to produce 1.2 lakh electric motorcycles every year. The same number is fixed for Phase 1 production of its AI-enabled electric motorcycle.

Rahul Sharma said, “As a mechanical engineer by qualification, I always found mobility and the expanse of opportunities it offers, very intriguing. There is a colossal need for using technology to disrupt urban commute and make it cleaner and sustainable. I’m doing my bit and I feel this is the right time for every player operating in this space to come together for the greater good of our environment. My vision is to see every household in India have access to sustainable mobility.”
