Sumit Pundhir has joined ABB as associate director of sales. Pundhir has been associated with the likes of ABB, Socomec Group, Larsen and Toubro and Schneider Electric in the past.
“I am happy to Share that I have taken up assignment at ABB (#abbelectrification). We would be Happy to assist you for everything from Modular Switches to Medium Voltage Products including LV & MV Panels,” read a social media post by Pundhir.
Started as sales engineer in 2003
Pundhir started his professional inning as a sales engineer with Larsen and Toubro in July 2003. After working with the firm for more than six years he joined Schneider Electric as deputy manager for the North region of India. Following a small stint with the same for approximately 11 months, Pundhir joined Socomec Group as an Area Sales Manager in December 2010.
He then went back to Larsen and Toubro in December 2012 and worked there more than a year. Pundhir since March 2014 has been associated with Socomec Group. He was working with the group as its general manager for power switching and monitoring verticals before joining ABB as associate sales director in December 2020.
Pundhir has published several research papers on topics ranging from marketing to sales.
