These companies include Seyi Group, Roller King Enterprise and Kao Ming Machinery Ltd, among others. According to the sources of the state government, Representatives of all the seven companies are expected to visit Gujarat in the end of April.
During their visit to Gujarat, representatives of these companies will be interacting with auto-component manufacturers and automobile electronics makers that are already present in the state. That apart, they will also be visiting the automobile manufacturing plants in Sanand, Vithalapur and Hansalpur, sources said to TNN.
Gujarat – The next manufacturing hub of India
State government officials believe that the entry of Taiwan-based companies in Gujarat will improve the manufacturing sector in Gujarat in terms of technology and will be a major boost for the automobile sector.
Currently, Gujarat is home to several automobile manufacturing giants including Tata Motors and Ford India which have plants in Sanand for passenger vehicle manufacturing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooters India (HMSI) Ltd in Vithalapur and Hero MotoCorp Ltd in Halol, for two-wheeler manufacturing. This has led to hefty investments in the auto components sector in Gujarat.
