IESA is designing a curriculum for students to convert an idea into a product.
Recently,IESA has announced that it is all set to promote 100 startups to help them create 1,000 intellectual property rights (IPRs) and make business worth Rs 1,000 crore in five years.
IESA executive council member Satya Gupta has said that this move will certainly make an impact to create 1 million jobs over next five years.
IESA, whose members include electronic chip makers Intel, Texas Instruments, Samsung Semiconductor, eInfochips etc, has entered into an agreement with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) to set up incubation centre in every state. Gupta said that even if IESA is able to incubate startups in 20 states with the help of STPI, they will achieve their target.
IESA is helping students to develop a concept into product in its all incubation centres. To strengthen this further IESA is connecting them with investors, logistics and other support required to develop their ideas into product.IESA is also working on a curriculum for colleges to teach them how to convert an idea into a product.
