PV Magazine reported that in order to be eligible, bidders should have a minimum of 10 MW per annum module manufacturing capacity and must have produced and supplied a cumulative 5 MW of mono or multi-crystalline products of the generation capacity specified or above during the last fiscal year.

Technical criteria
The modules must be made into 9×4 arrays using 36 cells each. Under standard test conditions – 1000 W/m², cell temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and air mass of 1.5 AM – the products should give a peak power output of a minimum of 75 W and have a cell efficiency of greater than 17 per cent and a module efficiency of more than 15 per cent.
