PVG Menon has served as the president of the India Electronics and Semiconductor Association from August 2011 to March 2014
Electronics Skill Sector Council of India (ESSCI) has appointed PVG Menon as its CEO. Setup by industry bodies including ELCINA, MAIT, IESA, IPCA, CEAMA, LEDMA and Elcoma, ESSCI, is tasked with skilling the workforce for the Electronic Systems Design and Manufacturing sector (ESDM) in India.
“Happy to announce that I have taken over as the CEO of the Electronics Sector Skills Council of India. It’s a huge and tremendously exciting responsibility. The ESSCI has skilled over a million people since its inception. The challenge given to me is to grow it, while going into new areas,” read a Linkedin Post by Menon.
Started as a multimedia specialist in 1988
Menon started his professional innings as a multimedia specialist with CMC limited in 1988. He then moved on to Siemens Information Systems ltd as a multimedia specialist in 1993. Menon has also worked with Analog Devices as a product line manager for over five years.
Prior to founding a company by the name of VANN Consulting, he was serving as a senior business development manager with NXP Semiconductors. PVG Menon has served as the president of the India Electronics and Semiconductor Association from August 2011 to March 2014.

Menon would now be responsible for overseeing the operations of ESSCI, and will work closely with its Governing Council on strategic issues related to the growth of the Electronic Systems Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) industry in India. The appointment follows the superannuation of the previous CEO.
