Okaya Bags EV Charging Station Orders From BluSmart

Okaya Power Group has announced its partnership with BluSmart Electric Mobility startup. The latter focuses on transportation solution using electric vehicles. Okaya will be providing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations infrastructure for BluSmart’s fleet operations.

BluSmart had recently raised Rs 51 crore

Deepika Padukone backed BluSmart had recently raised Rs 51 crore funding pre-series A round. Participants in this round included Inflection Point Ventures, Venture Catalysts, Suman Kant Munjal family office Survam Partners, Mumbai Angels, Chhattisgarh Investments Ltd, JITO Angel Network, LetsVenture, and Centrum Group-sponsored Kalpavriksh Fund.

Anmol Jaggi, Founder, BluSmart Electric Mobility said, “BluSmart Electric Mobility is one of the largest 100 per cent electric fleet operators in India & providing sustainable urban mobility to customers and by now attending more than 60,000-plus customers since it launched across India and aims to target 10 million-plus in the imminent months.”

Okaya is one of the largest suppliers of EV charging stations in India and it has by now deployed more than 500 chargers across the country. Its Lithium-ion batteries and EV chargers with an intelligent battery management system (BMS) have all the safety features to protect the battery and the vehicle. All these efforts of the firm are envisioned towards contributing its bit in making the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” mission a success.
