Mouser Electronics is proud to showcase the latest products for medical designs from leading manufacturers at the upcoming edition of India Technology Week (ITW) @Home, an online event free for visitors, occurring 26–27 August at https://www.IndiaTechnologyWeek.com.

“ITW gives Mouser an opportunity to connect with our design engineer customers, letting them know about the latest technologies and solutions from our 800-plus manufacturers,” said Mark Burr-Lonnon, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Service & EMEA and APAC Business.

He added, “Through events like ITW — which promotes cutting-edge topics like IoT and Industry 4.0, smart lighting, embedded systems, and 3D printing — we hope to help shape the innovators, inventors, start-ups, and engineers who will create future technological wonders.”

Mouser provides many services and tools

In addition to highlighting the latest components used in medical equipment, Mouser will be discussing the helpful services and tools available on the Mouser website.

“We are excited to discuss the many services and tools Mouser provides to design engineers and procurement professionals, including the new Price and Availability Assistant. Mouser offers a full suite of productivity tools, including the FORTE intelligent BOM tool, an ECAD design solution and the Inventory Management Tool,” said Burr-Lonnon.

Despite the recent economic downturn, the company continues its focus on customers and investing in inventory. Mouser has completed a major expansion at its 1 million square-foot global corporate headquarters and distribution centre in Texas, USA, where it stocks the industry’s widest selection of products, with over 1 million different SKUs.

“One key decision was to maintain our inventory levels; we ensure that customers can get an access to around $850 million of ready to ship inventory. We continue to focus on the breadth of inventory from all of our supplier partners to offer the right parts to purchasing
professionals and design engineers,” added Burr-Lonnon.

Burr-Lonnon also noted that medical technologies as have always been a good sector for the company, and unsurprisingly they have seen an increase in demand, particularly across all types of sensors. Additionally, demand has increased for microcontrollers, analogue, and LCD displays, all of which Mouser Electronics will highlight at ITW @Home August Edition.
