During the pandemic, Milagrow saw the market exploding for its floor-cleaning robots in residential sectors and other service robots
Rajeev Karwal, founder Chairman, Milagrow Robots, passed away due to Covid 19 on Wednesday morning. He was on ventilator support due to Corona Virus complications for almost a week.
Karwal, 58, was known as the man behind bringing LG Corporation in India in the year 1997. He was associated with the company as its vice president of sales and marketing. He was also associated with the likes of Electrolux Kelvinator and Reliance Retail as CEO. Karwal had also worked in different capacities with Onida, Kishinchand Chellaram Group and Surya Roshini Limited.
He had founded Milagrow Business and Knowledge Solutions in 2007. Milagrow’s robots came to be of special significance during Covid times. A lot of hospitals had started using Milagrow’s humanoid robots to help doctors. The first hospital humanoid by Milagrow, dubbed as ELF, was deployed in the advanced COVID-19 ward at AIIMS, Delhi. It was used to shield doctors and healthcare care workers from the virus.
During the pandemic, Milagrow saw the market exploding for its floor-cleaning robots in residential sectors and other service robots. This was mainly due to the fact that domestic helps were not available amid Covid concerns during the pandemic.
Karwal had also received the 1st Most Distinguished Alumnus Award of IMT Ghaziabad.
