Murray, based in Bengaluru, was reporting to Mahindra Electric’s ex-CEO Mahesh Babu
Martin Murray has resigned from his responsibilities as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited (MEML). A report by the Economic Times mentions that his last working day with Mahindra Electric was 31 July 2021.
Mahesh Babu has recently also decided to quit his association with Mahindra Electric in order to pursue interests outside the company. He was serving as the CEO and MD of the company. Murray, based in Bengaluru, was reporting to Mahesh Babu.
Murray had joined Mahindra Electric Mobility in December 2019. He was running a self setup EV consulting firm known as Murray EV consultants before joining Mahindra Electric. Murray has worked with General Motors in various roles in the past.
It is not clear about who will be filling Murray’s shoes at Mahindra Electric at the moment.
Suman Mishra, who had earlier held the position of Senior VP of Business Transformation, Insight and Analytics, Automotive Sector, will take over the new role with effect from August 14. She will be reporting to Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director, Auto and Farm Sectors, Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd.
Mahindra & Mahindra had consolidated Mahindra Electric Mobility Limited as a step-down subsidiary into the company earlier in March 2021.
