Chinese comglomerate LeEco has announced that they have decided to rope in three industry veterans to their India network so that the company can strengthen its focus in the country. LeEco has recently announced its intentions of staring manufacturing smartphones in the country under the ‘Make in India’ initiative. The company wants to bolster its leadership team in the country.
The Chinese company has hired Shrinivas Bairi as senior director (Research & Development) and Manish Aggarwal as vice president, marketing communications for smart electronics business. For LeEco’s content marketing business, Divya Dixit joins in as director from Percept Live.
Atul Jain, chief operating officer (smart electronics business), LeEco India said in a statement, “The three industry veterans bring with them a wealth of experience which is exceedingly valuable at this juncture of our growth in India. These hires are well in line with our initiative of attracting top talent to strengthen our leadership team in India.”
Bairi comes to LeEco from Qualcomm where he has spent 17 years and very well known person in the R&D domain. Whereas Aggarwal, joins the Chinese firm from Myntra, where he was vice president (marketing) and head of monetisation.
