Hero Electric has been entering into multiple partnerships to supply electric scooters to transform the segment and address the challenges of last-mile logistics and delivery
Homegrown electric giant Hero Electric has announced that it has joined hands with BattWheelz Mobility, a start-up that offers last-mile delivery mobility solutions to e-commerce and hyper-local grocery companies.
As part of the partnership, Hero Electric will deliver 4,000 electric two-wheelers to Gurugram-based BattWheelz by FY 2022-23.
According to Hero Electric, the company’s partnership with the last mile delivery segment in the country will enable faster EV transition in India. Hero Electric has a market share of 36 per cent in India.

Chetan Chaturvedi, Founder & MD, BattWheelz said, “Our vision is to promote affordable and sustainable delivery services through electric vehicles. Aligned to the same we have partnered with Hero Electric, India’s largest electric two-wheeler company who share the same vision. Together, we shall deploy one of the largest fleet of electric two-wheelers for last mile mobility.”

According to Hero Electric, the company is looking to convert 35 per cent of its sales from the B2B (business to business) segment over the next 4 years.
