Privately-owned MSME company Galaxy Industries has announced that it venturing into the electric vehicles space with its new unit ‘Galaxy Energy’, which will provide EV charging stations across the country.
In an official statement, the company said, “Given the increasing number of two and four-wheelers being made, sold, and used by environment-conscious citizens of the country, Galaxy Energy will deal in EV Charging Stations; therefore electric vehicle users don’t run out of power and find themselves astray from their journey.”
Initially, the company will supply AC and DC charging devices to verticals like real estate, malls, highway food courts, and government projects, following which it will expand its reach across the Indian market.

“While these members will support the sales and marketing initiatives of the company, talks are also underway with some Mumbai-based shopping malls and a couple of renowned real estate companies for the purpose,” the company added.
Commenting on the new venture, Ishwar Panchal, Founder of Galaxy Industries, said, “While we have petrol, diesel, and CNG pumps in most parts of the country, there aren’t enough charging stations for electric vehicles. That’s where Galaxy Energy is aspiring to make a difference.”
“We’re committed to a cleaner and greener India and are leaving no stones unturned in our contribution to boost manufacture and usage of electric vehicles and minimize toxic emissions from conventionally-fuelled vehicles.”
The company had previously launched its other division, Galaxy Industries (Engineering), under which it manufactured pharmaceutical and chemical equipment.
