Dr Vivek Lall has been appointed as the Chief Executive of General Atomics Global Corporation. He will be based at General Atomic’s headquarters located in San Diego, California.
Interestingly, Dr Vivek Lall has served General Atomics in the past was well. He was associated with the same as Chief Executive, Strategic Development for General Atomics from August 2014 to December 2017.
Was working with Lockheed Martin
Lall, before joining General Atomicsm was associated with Lockheed Martin as vice president, strategy and business development. He was also appointed by the US Government to the NextGen Advisory Committee in 2018 reporting to the Cabinet Secretary. Lockheed Martin is an America-based aerospace, defense, arms, security, and advanced technologies company.
He has also served Reliance as its president and CEO from April 2011 to August 2014. Lall was responsible for spearheading growth in the new ventures vertical for Reliance. He steered homeland security projects at the company. Born in Jakarta, Lall grew up living around the world including countries USA, Canada, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Lall has worked with Boeing Defense Space & Security as vice president and country head from September 1996 to April 2011. He also served as the founding Co-Chair of the US-India Aviation Cooperation Program launched by Norman Mineta in 2005.
Before working with Boeing in Seattle in 1996 he worked for Raytheon and with NASA in various multidisciplinary engineering fields. Lall has a masters degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
