Delta India Electronics, offering power and thermal management solutions has made an announcement today at Elecrama 2016 regarding the expansion of its R&D and manufacturing operations with new facilities in Bangalore and Hosur.
The move is with the aim of harnessing India’s long term growth potential. The company is planning for the development of smart energy management solutions with optimum energy efficiency at its new R&D. This is going to lead to a creation of 500 engineering jobs in the coming three years. Also, in the next decade, Delta’s new factory at Hosur is going to create nearly 20,000 jobs for the making of power electronics, renewable energy and automation solutions.
As per Mr. James Ng, chairman of Delta Electronics (Thailand) which is the parent company of Delta India, Delta sees india’s potential in becoming a powerhouse in manufacturing along with its need for high energy efficiency. This being the company’s core competency. He said that the new R&D set up in Bangalore will be a key step in the creation of unique and energy efficient technologies for supporting national initiatives like ‘Make in India’ and ‘Digital India’.
Adding to this, Mr Dalip Sharma, who heads Delta India Electronics has stated that at Elecrama 2016, the company will be exhibiting its entire range of smart solutions with industry-leading efficiency for a broad range of sectors which include green energy generation, industrial automation, telecom and even agriculture.
