Bengaluru based Cerebra Integrated Technologies is planning to achieve revenue target of Rs 1,000 crore by the year 2020. The company feels that it can reach this ambitious target from its electronics and e-waste businesses.
The company has also issued a statement which says that Cerebra is targeting to achieve Rs 1,000 crore of business by year 2020 and has put in a proper team and planning to achieve this target. It is a very conservative target considering the enormous potential of its businesses like e-waste and the manufacture of storage and servers.
The company has its manufacturing facility in Bengaluru where it manufactures desktops, laptops, servers and networking products. Here it must be noted that Cerebra is also expanding its manufacturing lines so that the company’s electronic manufacturing services (EMS) division can contribute effectively to the company’s revenue.
According to a recent study by Assocham and Frost & Sullivan, India is likely to generate 30 lakh metric tonnes (MT) of electronic waste (e-waste) per year by 2018 from the present 18.5 lakh metric tonnes (MT) annually with Mumbai being the largest contributor.
Cerebra feels that the e-waste market in the country is a big opportunity for them to garner growth.
