Bhageria Industries Limited (BIL) has won a solar project from the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). The solar power project is worth 30MW and is going to be set up in the Ahmednagar District, Maharashtra. The project will be completed during the first quarter of 2017.
As per Vikas Bhageria, director of BIL, “In Maharashtra there are lots of possibilities available to develop good solar project. Recently state government is also promoting solar power sector by liberalising its Renewable energy policy. BIL is planning to install more than 50 MW by March 2017 in the state of Maharashtra.”
BIL is going to carry out the project on a turnkey basis. It will be operating as well as maintaining the plant for 25 years. BIL, also known as Bhageria Dye-Chem has over 20 years of experience in the manufacturing of dye intermediates.
Starting September 2014, BIL had started to venture into the Solar Power sector. By March 2016, the total installed capacity of Bhageria Industries Limited is expected to be around 3 MW.
