The ACME Group announced that it has received 446MW solar power projects from Southern Power Distribution Company Ltd (TSPDCL) and Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd (TSNPDCL). The project will be implemented at 18 different locations in Telangana.
According to reports, ACME Group has bagged 446 MW solar tender in Telangana, accounting for 22 per cent of the 2000MW tender. With this achievement, the company has marked itself as a number one player in India’s solar power segment. ACME has won over 1GW projects through competitive bidding across the country.
Manoj Upadhyay, founder and chairman, ACME Group said that over a period of time they have emerged as a strong player in distributed power generation. With the achievement of this project, they have received a good response for solar bids they invited.
If reports are to believed, ACME Group has also reached to the higher level of obtaining the position of India’s largest and only solar power developer with a portfolio of over 1000MW solar projects. The company has won the mandate for 446 MW, out of a total 2000MW tender at weighted average tariff of ₹5.84 per unit.
