Bokaro district administration has asked all government officials and employees to use LED bulbs to save energy.
Bokaro deputy commissioner (DC) Rai Mahimapat Ray in a meeting on Tuesday encouraged government officials to also use LED bulbs at their homes and motivate others.
According to TOI the administration has planned to organise camps in Pragya Kendra and panchayat bhawans across the district to ensure that LED bulbs reach the last man. The district administration will provide LED bulbs at a rate of Rs 65. Apart from bulbs, LED tube lights will also be sold at the camps.
The DC said that the administrative officials and employees have been directed to use LED bulbs at their offices and homes. They should also ask residents to use it
