Monday, September 1, 2014: According to a report by the Indian Printed Circuit Association (IPCA), the demand for PCBs in India has increased at a CAGR of 35 per cent year on year. The local PCB industry not only serves the domestic market but about 24 per cent of what is manufactured annually is exported. Indian PCB manufacturers have also enhanced their production capabilities from single layer PCBs to 16-24 layer PCBs.

Despite the fact that almost 75 per cent of domestic demand is met by imports, the PCB sector is doing well.
