Top 15 PCB manufacturers in India

According to a study by Electronics Bazaar, there will be a major demand for domestically-manufactured PCBs in the coming years, as the government has made it mandatory to use India-made PCBs as a part of the value-addition clause under the Preferential Market Access (PMA) guidelines. This, in turn, should significantly boost PCB manufacturing in India. According to Indian Printed Circuit Association (IPCA), the present value of the Indian PCB market is worth Rs 48 billion, of which one-third is met by domestic producers.

Electronics Bazaar (EB) attempted to rank the top PCB manufacturers in India, and conducted a survey in June 2013 to ascertain the leaders in this field.

Wednesday, August 28, 2013: According to a study by Electronics Bazaar, there will be a major demand for domestically-manufactured PCBs in the coming years, as the government has made it mandatory to use India-made PCBs as a part of the value-addition clause under the Preferential Market Access (PMA) guidelines.

The methodology

A) We have ranked only those companies that manufacture PCBs in India based on their revenues.

B) Most of the companies ranked are exclusively into PCB manufacturing in India, while a couple of them are into multiple businesses within the country, which has been indicated in their profiles.

C)Many companies like NSP Electronics, Sonic Technology, Hi Q Electronics, Veratroniks Automated Circuits & Systems, DMS Technologies Pvt Ltd, etc, could not be ranked as their revenue figures were not accessible. We have also not ranked Electronics Corporation of India Ltd (ECIL) because PCB manufacturing is not a major part of its business operations.

D) The revenue figures have been procured from the website of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, and verified by the companies; some figures were also provided by the companies themselves.

E) Another survey was also conducted across India to gauge the popularity of the PCB brands available in the country. This survey was done among the PCB distributors, end-users and PCB association members.

F) This survey also included companies that do not manufacture in India, but their brands are popular in the country. The majority of these companies just conduct trading operations in India, either through distributors or direct sales offices. The results of this survey have been shared in the table on Page 43.

G) This survey revealed that the national brands are much more popular than the international brands.

While both the surveys are by no means comprehensive, we request our readers to share their feedback to help us make these reports more useful.

Disclaimer: While Electronics Bazaar’s editorial team has taken the utmost care to contact all possible sources to make the list comprehensive, we may have inadvertently left out a few companies from this list. Information contained in the following report has been obtained from sources deemed reliable, and Electronics Bazaar makes no claims with respect to its accuracy. Neither Electronics Bazaar nor its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, owners, representatives nor any of its data or content providers shall be liable for any errors or for any actions taken by any entity on the basis of this information.
