Q. How do you define the strength of your products?

Domestic electronic water meters for flats and houses, as well as bulk electronic water meters are as much a part of our portfolio and up to date systems technology. Our smart water meter, IoT data logger and AMR solutions can support clients to manage water resources efficiently. Most people think we are in the water industry only, but we have combined water solution with IoT communications technology as a total solution for our partners. EMS smart water metering solutions combine with edge-computing technology and IoT communications. The smart water meter with CPU can process data immediately, so it can detect leakage, reverse flow and show alarms to the users.

Q. Can you share some details about its leadership team?

EMS is the leading smart water meter manufacturer in Taiwan. Our team has more than 30 year experiences to develop innovative smart water metering solutions. Our goal is to support the water utility, industrial and commercial sectors to manage water resources effectively.

Q. Who are your ideal B2B customers?

Our potential clients are from water utility, industrial and commercial sectors. Any water related companies who have plans to upgrade the water management system in India are our partners.

Q. How is your venture into exports and more specifically the Indian market?

We have been exporting our smart metering solutions in ASEAN countries, from Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia and South Africa and annual revenue from exports outside Taiwan and Mainland China is around 5 percent.

We have been doing business in India since 2016 and it’s a great experience, as we have learned much about India culture and business style. Also, the Indian market is huge, so we need to learn to think like an Indian. Smart water meter with IoT communications is one among the top products we would like to focus on for Indian customers. Water is an important commodity for sustainable living and EMS can help clients to collect, analyse and manage data in the cloud-based system and visualise the data through the mobile device.

Q. Are you also looking for Agents (distributors, channel partners, etc) in India?

To set up operations in India is one of our plans and if we find the right partnership, we hope to make it happen soon. We hope to promote our smart metering solutions across the world. India plays a huge part in our global operation as we plan to make smart water meters in India locally. We would like to find enthusiastic channel partners locally who share the same concepts like EMS to promote the latest smart metering technology. It’s hoped our channel partners are target-oriented and can support their clients like a friend. Knowing your clients water metering challenges and finding the suitable solutions for them. We welcome all types of partnerships for our India agents and B2B customers. If they have any ideas, let’s make it happen.

They can contact Eric Lin, who has several years of experience in supporting channel partners in India. More information can be accessed via EMS official website, https://www.ems.com.tw/en/
