Tuesday, January 07, 2014: A power supply for test and measurement applications is a single-function DC device designed to output controlled voltages. It offers output voltage accuracy and stability, good noise suppression and immunity, comprehensive output protection, and battery management functions for portable equipment. In some applications, ingress protection, remote monitoring equipment and a rugged design are essential.

Model: PSB-2000 series, Brand: GW Instek, Manufacturer: Good Will Instrument Co Ltd

Launched in October 2013, the PSB-2000 series power supply is a high power density, programmable and multi-range output DC power supply. There are six models in the series, including one power booster unit. Its multi-range output functionality facilitates flexible collocations of higher voltage and larger current under the rated power range. The equipment protects over voltage and over current.

Model: HMP 2020/HMP 2030 and HMP 4030/4040, Brand: Hameg Instruments, Manufacturer: Hameg Instruments (Rohde & Schwarz)

Upgraded in October 2013, the HMP 2020/HMP 2030 and HMP 4030/4040 series offer high output power, low ripple, as well as a high resolution for setting the parameters and recalling them. It has several independent channels, with protective features for a combination of channels. It offers voltage and current control for up to four independent arbitrary channels.

Key features

If a circuit is supplied with symmetrical voltages, it is necessary to switch off Channel 2 if Channel 1 is over loaded.

The easy arb function allows one to program curves with a step width of 10 minutes to 60 sec and 128 steps per channels, which can be repeated

You can preselect a channel that tracks the leading channels. These channels will follow any voltage or current change in the leading channel
