Allnyx Technologies’ in-house manufacturing facility and skilled workforce provide a diverse range of solutions for the automotive, industrial, power, medical, defence, aerospace, lighting, telecom and security industries. To cater to this wide array of industries, the company has adopted the high-mix low-volume manufacturing model, which helps it fulfil specific customer demands. Its product range includes printed circuit boards, plastic injection moulds and moulding, metal enclosures, wire and cable harness/electromechanical assemblies, etc. Turnkey manufacturing and box building are the other core offerings of the company.

Manufacturing at a glance
Situated in Dabhasa, near Vadodara, the Allnyx manufacturing plant has state-of-art equipment. The plant is set up in an ESD safe and dust-free environment over an area of 418sqm, with ample scope for growth on a plot size of 7432sqm. The total capacity of the plant is 35,000 cph, which the company is planning to increase to 100,000 cph soon.
The plant has automatic SMT line machines and equipment from the world’s leading brands for manufacturing flexible electronics, which help it to meet customer requirements of quality, cost and delivery. The company currently receives a 15 per cent subsidy on its capital expenditure from the Gujarat government and is also talking with it for tax breaks on investments in machinery.

A focus on quality
Allnyx provides value engineering services to enhance product features, performance, quality, looks and to reduce the BOM. With the help of optical inspection instruments, as well as testing and measuring instruments, the company carries out 100 per cent visual inspection to meet customer requirements. The optical inspection is done by 100x microscopes.
The Allnyx management team believes that lack of skilled, experienced and stable manpower is a major hindrance to success. To overcome this challenge, the company is employing freshers and providing them formal training to bring them up to the standards Allnyx expects. It also provides online and offline quality management training to its existing employees to ensure high standards, consistently.
Take on ‘Make in India’
Allnyx Technologies is a strong supporter of the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative. At present, the company is focusing on the domestic production of many imported electronic products. “We are in the process of manufacturing many products like CCTV cameras, PoE switches and power supplies, which are currently being imported from China. We are able to design and manufacture the products that are being imported at present. We see huge opportunities for manufacturing in India and we are also participating actively in fulfilling our prime minister’s vision for making in India,” Navadia says.
Expansion plans
Allnyx is planning to transform itself into a one-stop design and engineering solutions provider that will cut down the risks and costs that customers bear when managing multiple vendors and agencies. In the coming years, the company is also planning to expand its manufacturing base to provide end-to-end, integrated manufacturing services to customers. And, therefore, it is investing more on new technologies, skilled human resources and technologically advanced machines, tools and equipment.

The story behind the company’s inception
Before establishing Allnyx Technologies, Ashvin Navadia, co-founder and CEO of the company, worked in distinguished positions at various well-known electronics firms. During this period, he found that the electronics industry in India was at a nascent stage and that there were immense opportunities for growth.
“Having gained vast experience on different fronts, I felt compelled to do something on my own and that is how, Parul Patel, an investor well-established in the chemicals domain, joined me in setting up an electronics manufacturing plant in Vadodara,” says Navadia. “Other factors that encouraged us to get into this field were the fast growth of the outsourcing of manufacturing activities and the worldwide boom in the electronics market,” he adds.
