The month of July saw around $358.29 million being invested in the RE sector. The renewable energy(RE) sources generated 17941.05 MUs in July 2022, down by 3.7% from June 2022. There was 17.39% in solar generation while wind generation increased by 6.89% MoM.
From January 2022 to June 2022, India added a cumulative RE capacity of 9064 MW in the country. In the month of June 2022, 836 MW of solar and wind capacity was added. Rajasthan added the maximum solar capacity of 392 MW.
The price for mono PERC 440 Wp modules was INR 31/Wp in July 2022, down by 1.6% as compared to INR 31.5/Wp in June 2022.
