Aggarwal wrote in his blog that Ola Electric had sold almost 1,50,000 EVs in 2022.

Ola and Ola Electric co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal said that Ola Electric will have six different products in the market by 2027 including two electric motorcycles.

In a blog post, Aggarwal wrote that Ola will launch two new electric motorcycles in 2024 in the Indian market. While one will be a premium e-motorcycle, the other will be a mass e-motorcycle, he wrote.

“In 2023 and 2024, we will launch many more 2W (two-wheeler) EV products – a mass market scooter, a mass market motorcycle, and multiple premium motorcycles (sports, cruisers, adventure and road bikes),” he added.

Ola Electric launched its first e-scooter and the world’s largest 2W plant on August 15, 2021. Aggarwal stated in his blog that Ola has become the largest EV company in India by revenue and volume in 15 months with almost 1,50,000 EV sales in 2022. Its first electric scooter, Ola S1, is now available in three variants namely Air, S1, and Pro.

Aggarwal also added that the all-electric Ola sedan would break cover in 2024, as planned by the company in August 2022. Ola Electric plans to introduce a premium electric SUV in 2025, and launch a mass market for electric cars by 2026 in India which could have a sub ₹10 lakh pricing.

“Our first car will launch in 2024 and by 2027 we will have six different products in the market. In 2023, we will commission our cell manufacturing plant with a 5GWh capacity by the end of the year with an ambition to install 100GWh over the course of this decade,” added Aggarwal.
