The new tech connects lifts with Advanced Intelligent Software
India’s leading lift manufacturer Johnson Lifts recently launched an IoT-based wireless software device called “WATCH”. The company says that WATCH, which is short for Wireless Assessment to Troubleshoot Channelize & Host, performs a range of functions by connecting the lifts to the data centre through the IoT device in the lift. It senses, monitors, and alerts technicians in real-time, thus providing immediate assistance to customers when needed.
On the occasion of the “WATCH” launch, Albert Dhiraviyam, Country Head-Marketing, stated: “We at Johnson Lifts are happy to introduce the WATCH feature using IoT, which monitors the lifts’ behaviour and condition and continues to improve the performance of lifts and predict possible defects. Our commitment to using advanced technology increases the reliability and safety of our customers. The experiences and analysis developed will naturally be applied to other Johnson lifts that are connected using IoT. This IoT-based service is here to stay and is the digital evolution of modern lifts of the future.”
As per the statement released, a lot of essential data is collected through the sensors installed in all the vital components of the lift. Through continuous monitoring of the lifts, trouble-free performance is ensured. It also helps in improving equipment performance and predicting possible defects and breakdowns.
Johnson Lifts is a leading manufacturer of lifts and escalators. The statement released by the company said that using WATCH technology, it aims to provide safety, excellent services, and consistent performance to its consumers.
