The Electronics Manufacturing Cluster is leaving no stone unturned for setting up operational units around the country. Out of the 3464.42 acres, 1342 acres have been allocated. Andhra Pradesh bags 3 out of the 22 EMC projects.
18 operational units from the 22 projects have been completed.
The total committed investment from April to July, 2022 is Rs. 50,690 crores. Out of the 22 projects, 14 are yet to be completed within the next couple of months. The biggest project is EMC at Mundra, Gujarat (M/s. Mundra Solar Technopark Private Limited-MSTPL), that spans over 631 acres of land, with a total cost of Rs. 74 Crores. The grant in aid for this project is around Rs. 31 Crores.
