Intelligent power devices

In April 2012, Renesas Electronics introduced 14 new intelligent power devices including the μPD166023.

Features and USP: These devices have enhanced protection functions for automotive body applications, including external lamps such as headlamps, fog lamps, flashers (turn signals) and brake lights, as well as heaters and motors of various types. Features of the new line include power limit protection, instant detection and response to error states, short durability and self-diagnosis.
