Wistron India, as part of the commitment to the community, had launched the Wistron WeCare CSR Program to extend support and relief during the pandemic. Under the program, the first initiative was with the Kolar police where 1000 face shields and 10000 masks were distributed to the policemen and officers across the district. This was followed by distribution of 10 oxygen concentrators to various Primary Health Centers and Community Health Centers across Kolar.

“During the second wave, it was noticed that some hospitals had severe shortage of oxygen supply. In close consultation with the district administration, we decided to install this high-capacity oxygen generator plant at Malur GH. We sincerely hope that this facility helps with the much-needed oxygen supply and aids the hospital to take care of the critical needs more comfortably including a possible third wave if it comes. All of us at Wistron would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all the frontline warriors especially the healthcare workers and police. Wistron WeCare CSR Program will continue to work in the community,” added Nagaraj M, Managing Director, Wistron Infocomm Manufacturing India.
