Sunil Banwari has started working with Advantest Corporation as its vice president of cloud solutions division. He is currently working on enabling semiconductor manufacturing with industry 4.0 technology. Banwari had joined the organisation in March this year.

He added, “In this role, I am based in USA and Taiwan working with top semiconductor companies on developing and marketing cloud and edge computing solutions using AI and machine learning to drive revolutionary improvements in chip design validation, equipment efficiency, yields, quality, and time to market.”
“Working with semiconductors once again, feels like homecoming to me,” he noted.
Banwari, based in USA and Taiwan, was previously associated with AT&S India, as a chief operating officer. He is also a board member of the China International Semiconductor Executive Summit. Getting to work on semiconductors once again, as he said, felt like coming back to home to him.
He has previously worked with Intel and ON Semiconductor as well. Banwari has also been associated with Anadigics, Natel EMS and Smiths Group plc in the past.
He holds a MS in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, and BS and MS in Physics from University of Rajasthan. He has also completed MIT Sloan School of Management’s program titled Artificial Intelligence: Implications For Business, and holds a MBA from University of Phoenix.
