Mahindra Powerol, part of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, recently launched a new range of inverters. The new range, from 2.5 kVA to 5 kVA, will cater not only to households, but also to small commercial establishments.
The company’s inverters are currently available in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra and Bihar. “We are planning pan India rollout during the current year,” said P Palaniappan, senior vice president, Mahindra Powerol. With the new higher range of inverters, the company targets to power air conditioners in independent houses, small offices, retail outlets, showrooms, restaurants and petrol pumps.
In addition, it also launched branded batteries which would work as a better combination with the company’s inverters. “This will also help customers get a single window service for both inverters and batteries,” said Narendra Goyal, head of the home UPS division.
