Mouser Electronics is showcasing cutting-edge products at the Earth’s first Drone-World. Being hosted on the India Technology Week platform, the one day event is scheduled for 12 August.
“Mouser’s Empowering Innovation Together program around Drones is designed to foster innovation by empowering engineers of all levels to unleash their genius,” said Glenn Smith, President and CEO of Mouser Electronics.
He added, “Exhibiting at Drone-World will help us reach out to engineers and the Drone fraternity. Mouser has a lot in store for them.”
From multicopter solutions to drone development kits
Mouser Electronics is going to showcase solutions that range from multicopter solutions to drone development kits. These include Infineon Drone/Multicopter Solutions; NXP HoverGames Drone System and STMicroelectronics STEVAL-FCU001V1 Evaluation Board.
Infineon Drone/Multicopter Solutions offer a portfolio of high-quality products with a wide spectrum of components. These cost-effective system solutions feature everything from power electronics to controllers and sensors.
NXP HoverGames Drone System Solution is a single, modular, and flexible NXP development platform with the RDDRONE-FMUK66 flight management unit at its base. The KIT-HGDRONEK66 Drone Kit is a complete carbon fiber quadcopter drone, providing mechanical and other components needed to evaluate the RDDRONE-FMUK66. The RDDRONE-FMUK66 flight management unit adds BLDC motor control capabilities, a mechanical platform, and can be mounted on the Drone Kit.
STMicroelectronics STEVAL-FCU001V1 Evaluation Board is a compact flight controller unit (FCU) complete with sample firmware for small and medium size quadcopter drone designs. The board includes a complete sample FW project to immediately begin flying small and medium size quadcopters (with brushed or brushless DC motors). It can be used to evaluate the performance of the IMU sensors under real flight conditions.
The FCU can be controlled by a standard external remote controller (PWM input interface) or by a smartphone or tablet. This is achieved through the Bluetooth low energy module present on board (CE, FCC, ARIB, BQE certified).
Magnetometer and pressure sensors are also embedded to support 3D navigation applications. SWD, I2C and USART connectors are available for FW development and debugging, and to support additional external sensors or RF modules.
