The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) Monday named Navneet Gupta, an Indian Audit & Account Service (IAAS) 1997-batch officer as a Joint Secretary in the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).

The ACC has approved the appointment of Shri Navneet Gupta, IA&AS (1997), as Joint Secretary, Department of Telecommunications, from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) in a statement Monday said.
