Labelled LED–SU4303, LED-SU5003 and LED-SU5503, these new Intex smart UHD TVs will compete against the likes of 4K UHD smart TVs from LG, TCL, Panasonic, Onida and Mitashi.

Intex 4K UHD Smart TVs India price

The latest Intex 43-inches 4K UHD Smart TV carries a price tag of Rs 52,990. The bigger versions, that are Intex 50-inches 4K UHD Smart TV and Intex 55-inches 4K UHD Smart TV will cost consumers Rs 75,000 and Rs 1,00,000 respectively.

The Indian based electronics manufacturer may have priced these new UHD smart TVs a little costly as there are brands in the market offering the same at lower price tags. Mitashi FHD Ultra HD 4K Smart LED TV is currently available for Rs 30,000 on a popular e-commerce portal in India, while 2017 variant of LG 43-inches 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV is retailing for Rs 45,000 on the same portal.

However, Intex may have a upper hand in the market as it is a known brand and the prices revealed do not include discounts. It will be interesting to see what discounts offline re-sellers, distributors and online e-commerce portals offer on the newly revealed Intex 4K UHD Smart TV. Intex customer support may also prove to be a discouraging factor among customers.

Intex 4K UHD Smart TVs features

All the variants in the latest Intex 4K UHD Smart TVs line-up come powered by 1.2GHz Dual-core ARM Cortex A9 processors coupled with MaliT450MP2 graphics card, 1.5GB RAM and 8GB in-built storage. The new Intex TVs offer WiFi connectivity. Consumers can use this connectivity to stream online content from a smartphone or a tablet.

Equipped with a 4K panel offering a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, an aspect ratio of 16:9 and 178-degree viewing angle, the display comes integrated with an ‘Eye Safe T-Matrix’ technology which Intex claims helps in playing lag-free content through every frame with a 9ms fast response time.

Installed with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, these new Intex 4K UHD smart TVs come with inbuilt apps that include Jio Cinema, Youtube, Facebook, Browser, Media Center, Clean Master and TV Tweets. Apart from the Jio Cinema which hosts as much as 100,000 hours of entertainment through 6,000 movie titles, 120,000+ episodes and 70,000 music videos on its vast library, Intex also has its own app store offering entertainment, games and education apps in multiple Indian languages.
