South Korean electronics major, LG Electronics Inc., on Thursday unveiled a new high-end brand – LG Objet, with the concept of merging home appliances with furniture to target the consumers who seek new and unique designs.
New Concept to bring unique products
The new high-end brand LG Objet unveiled by LG Electronics is a latest concept of convergence appliances that will bring together electronics and furniture,” the company said in a statement, according to report in a leading international media.
The company also claimed that the products under the new brand will not only function as electronics products but also for the purpose of home decor.
LG Objet is the second premium brand launched by the South Korean tech giant. Earlier, in 2016, the company has launched a premium brand – LG Signature.
The products under the LG Objet brand stands out from other home appliances in the market as the products are made of various materials, such as metal and wood. This new concept might attract a lot of customers and help them customise their home surroundings, the company said.
Products range and cost
The first range of LG Objet products unveiled by the company include a refrigerator, audio system, air purifier and television sets. The appliances under the new brand are tailor-made, and it takes around three months for producing the products.
The TV launched under the LG Objet brand comes with a 65-inch screen size with Super Ultra HD display and equipped with a premium sound bar. The TV is priced at 9.99 million won (around $8,755). The refrigerator under the new brand utilizes the premium ash wood to provide it a luxury look and available at a price of 1.99 million won.
