TE store provides instant access to product pricing, daily updates on product availability, and flexible shipping and delivery options
A large population of engineers and inventors are now able to deal directly with TE Connectivity, thanks to its online store which is giving its customers the ability to comparison shop and buy TE products.
TE Store, launched on September 15, offers customers the option to purchase featured products direct via TE.com or through select distributors, along with instant access to product pricing, daily updates on product availability, and flexible shipping and delivery options.
TE’s chief eBusiness and digital officer Nitin Mathur has reportedly claimed that they have some 20 million unique visitors per year on TE.com with many design engineers hitting their site directly.
“We know that there are millions of engineers across industries searching the internet for high quality products to design their applications. They want to see what’s out there, compare availability and pricing, and have the option to buy products online,” said Mathur.
“We’ve designed the TE Store to meet the specific needs of engineers and inventors so that they can research products, get 24/7 technical support and be able to purchase online – either directly from TE or from our distributor partners,” Mathur added.
More products added on TE Store
The global technology and manufacturing leader originally piloted e-commerce capabilities last year with a limited number of products. The expanded online TE Store features a wide assortment of thousands of in-stock connectors, resistors, cable assemblies, tools and more.
The products are used in a variety of applications in numerous industries like communication & wireless, data centers, consumer devices, appliances, aerospace and defense, industrial applications and transportation.
TE Store accepts major credit cards, offers same-day shipping, and requires no minimum purchase.
Presently, shopping online from TE.com is only available to customers within the continental United States, but the company plans to expand to more countries and offer a wider array of products in the future.
