Priced between 1 – 3.5 crores, Samsung has unveiled ‘LED for Home’ for luxury homes with a modular formation and HDR Picture Refinement technologies
Samsung has launched its latest series of home screens, ‘LED for Home’ in India. These huge screen TVs price starts at Rs. 1 crore. Also termed as Active LEDs, these are will be available in four sizes – 260-inch Ultra HD, 220-inch Ultra HD, 130-inch Full HD and 110-inch Full HD.
Designed exclusively for luxury homes, the screens are meant to deliver a quality visual experience. Samsung recently launched these in Mumbai at InfoComm 2018, a trade fair for Pro-Audio Visual and Integrated Experience Technologies. The company aims to target high net worth individuals (HNIs) and working professionals with its latest home display technology.
Key features
Priced between Rs. 1 to 3.5 crores, the home screens boast of modular formation technology. This makes customizing the screen size and shapes easier. They can be fixed into any home setting. The screen also includes HDR Picture Refinement technology that offers high-quality visuals with better detail and colours and zero hindrance from the ambient lighting. The new LEDs also have the Electro-static Discharge (ESD) certification, which guarantees a longevity of over 1,00,000 hours.
Puneet Sethi, Samsung India Consumer Electronics vice president, said that Samsung’s all-new series of home screens have harmoniously synchronized with all the elements of the room, offering a one-of-a-kind visual experience to the viewers. He added that the designs were meant to transform the viewers’ living rooms into cinema, thereby offering the perfect blend of pure black, enhanced colours and uber content quality.
Sethi further shared about the electronic giant’s focus on customer satisfaction. The company has added the Active LEDs to its portfolio after its recent announcement of incorporating a series of leading-edge technologies – system-on-chips, IoT solutions, Near Field Communication and Power management IC.
Samsung has lined up two new launches – its three rear-camera smartphones, A7 and a massive four-camera one called A9.
