A Japanese delegation visiting India said Japan’s SME manufacturers have the advanced technical capabilities that can help local manufacturers to become more competitive. The delegation would sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government in order to encourage investors in japan to invest in the state SME sector. This was stated by Tadashi Okamura, chairman, Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) at a FICCI meeting on ‘India-Japan Economic Partnership’.
“In addition to Tamil Nadu, our delegation is focusing on States such as Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, Gujarat and West Bengal,” he said on Monday.
