Bharat Test House (P) Ltd 1474, HSIIDC Industrial Estate, Rai, Distt. Sonepat, Haryana-131001 has been recently recognized by BIS to test all the notified products by MeitY vide BIS letter No NROL/QA/LRS/OSL(9135626) Dated 20.03.2017 under Lab Recognition Scheme 2013.
Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) has notified “Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirement for Compulsory Registration) Order, 2012” on 3 Oct 2012 for fifteen categories of electronics products. Another 15 product categories were added by MeitY under this order on 13 Nov 2014.
Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) is operating Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS) for Electronics & IT Goods as per the provision of Chapter IVA of THE BUREAU OF INDIAN STANDARDS RULES, 1987 for the product categories notified by MeitY.
