One of the largest CCTV manufacturing company in India, Sparsh, is now registered with Director General of Supplies & Disposals (DGS&D).
According to the company, Government has issued a rate Contract for supply of CCTV where SPARSH is the only Indian brand with complete range of CCTV products has been an approved make.
The rate contract acknowledges the Preferential Market Access (PMA) policy of Department of Electronics and Information Technology (DeitY) that prefers and promotes domestic manufacturing, and is in sync with the Make in India campaign.
“The DGS&D registration testifies the quality and performance of our product and strengthens Sparsh position as the only Made in India brand. All our products were tested as per stringent quality standards laid down by the government under strict supervision. It’s going to ease the government procurement processes for various departments and bring more transparency in the security product purchase,” said Sanjeev Sehgal, MD, Sparsh.
DGS&D registration is a process by which firms can get enlisted as an approved supplier to qualify for participation in DGS&D procurement programme.
DGS&D registers suppliers for specified items after verification of their technical capability, financial status and reliability as a supplier. This registration is widely taken as a benchmark by other procurement agencies in India both in the State and Central sectors.
