The ACME Group has got tenders worth 200 MW of solar projects Andhra Pradesh and Telangana through separate tenders which was floated by Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
In Andhra Pradesh ACME won 150 MW solar project contract at a fixed tariff of Rs 4.33 per kWh in addition to viability gap funding of Rs 5.5 million per MW. In the meantime, the group also won 50 MW solar project contract in Telangana. ACME had placed a bid of Rs 4.67 per kWh for a period of 25 years.
Both the plants are expected to be completed within 13 months from the date of signing of power purchase aggrements (PPA) with SECI and National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC).
With these two latest awards, ACME’s portfolio has expanded to 1,519 MW, including 490 MW in Telangana, 310 MW in Andhra Pradesh, 104 MW in Punjab and over 100 MW in Rajasthan, along with projects in some other states. The group wants to commission 960 MW by March 2017.
