Public sector defence equipment maker Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) is all set to showcase its indigenisation efforts at the ‘Make in India Week’ in Mumbai.

India’s financial capital Mumbai will host Make in India Week from February 13 to 18.

BEL will have an outdoor display of Akash, the indigenously developed surface-to-air missile system, which has been recently inducted into the Indian Air Force. Akash is a shining example of Public-Private Partnership. Barring a few electronic components, every bit of Akash has the ‘Made in India’ tag.
