January 9, 2015: Fluke Corporation’s move of registering its Indian operations as Fluke Technologies India Pvt Ltd (with effect from November 2014) is indicative of the company’s plans for a stronger local presence.
In 2012, Fluke Corporation acquired national distributor, TTL Technologies Pvt Ltd, which was the first step towards getting closer to its Indian customers. “Since then, it has continuously expanded its product offerings, catering to specific verticals like oil and gas, energy, utilities and retail,” says Arindam Majumdar, MD and country head of Fluke Technologies India Pvt Ltd. Fluke now has entry level digital multimeters priced from Rs 2,199 onwards. These have broken sales records at many shops due to the huge demand from technicians, electricians and students.
